So we had our first taste of winter with a light snowfall this week. As much as I got made fun of for my initial shock (I kept peeking out the window to awe at the snow), it's starting to sink in just how petty this is compared to what's to come. Mind you, the snow does make everything look that much prettier - especially at night. Today everything has pretty much melted away but the winds picked up and boy was it ever cold. It's suppose to snow again pretty soon so I'm glad that I got me a pair of snow boots. I felt pretty silly walking around the store and trying different ones on and looking through all the tags when I see other looking at heels and pretty shoes. Am I over-reacting? Honestly though, I'd rather be over-prepared than over-whelmed by this beast of winter I've been warned again.Hello winter blues.
